Did you know?It isn't just sci-fi fantasy, folks. The Super Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) is here and has been used for years by scientists to measure the tiny magnetic currents of our thoughts as they move through our brain. A non-invasive instrument that doesn't even have to attach to the scalp, the SQUID is a useful scientific and medical device because there is no distortion of the energy transmission as it moves through the skull and scalp. Thought energy moving through the skull and being read by an instrument not attached to the head, you say? It begs many questions. How far away from the body can this thought energy transmit? What is possible in terms of other people being able to pick up on that thought energy? It wasn't so many years ago that no credible scientist would accept that thought energy could be measured by an instrument not connected to the brain. What are we going to accept as normal in the future about how we humans communicate in non-linguistic ways that we now dismiss with scorn or deride as quaint folk tales? So perhaps the next time you get a hunch that you know what's on someone's
mind you'll respond to it and check it out rather than dismissing it
who
knows, you just might be having a SQUID moment! Thought WavesThis month's feature article is an original offering by Jean Johnson. You can reach Jean at1-905-632-9908 or by email at cde@on.aibn.com. THE JOURNEY HOMEIn my long search for my original self, nothing has ignited my passion as much as WEL-Systems®, Quantum TLC, and the CODE Model. My life-altering experience began during my NLP practitioner training when I realized that I was at cause in my life through my perceptions, beliefs and choices. The new insights created a dramatic reversal of health conditions pronounced chronic and life-long that had plagued me for years. Fibromyalgia, arthritis, multiple food and chemical sensitivities and even spiders understood that having served their purpose they could relinquish their energy to the service of more fulfilling pursuits. My unbridled enthusiasm attracted others traveling on similar paths and I soon discovered the vast potential for my fledgling counselling practice. As my vision expanded I incorporated the new information and garnered some success with the techniques of NLP. Knowing what I now knew, and hungry for more, I committed myself to the Master Practitioner training. WEL-Systems, Quantum TLC, and the CODE Model BREATHED new life into me as I began to fully appreciate the magnificence of me and who I am capable of becoming. The CODE Model is now an integral part of my life. It is undoubtedly the most valuable tool for decoding the body's signals and messages and probably saved my life. It is the backbone of the work I engage in with my clients; and in using it with the couples I work with, I gain valuable insight into my own relationships. I now understand that the therapy model I was trained in as a Human Services Counsellor was the major factor in the disenchantment I felt with my chosen profession and the toxic work environments it spawned. I discovered a new paradigm that fully honoured my original self and that of my clients. Using the WEL-Systems material to create new applications and programs is pure serendipity! It is gratifying to be able to unleash ones creativity and not have it hi-jacked by the hierarchy of agency politics. No more self-isolation no longer 'by' myself but 'for' myself in the company of others. In a WEL-Systems approach I represent an autonomous WORK (substitute play) ENVIRONMENT in a LIVING SYSTEM a full participant and appreciated contributor in every aspect of my life working within and actively connected to and supported by other living work/play systems. A pivotal moment in my journey came when I recognized for the first time in my life that people could be attracted to me (Identity and Spirituality levels). I call it my Sally Field moment. Of the fifty people I had invited to the screening of The Biology of Belief by Dr. Bruce Lipton seventeen confirmed. I was astonished when forty- six people showed up. Louise LeBrun was to introduce the video. On seeing the turnout she unceremoniously turned it over to me as she reminded me that my guests were here because of me. I know it's about connections space movement flow for the unfolding of infinite possibilities and manifestations. I also know that no mere accident of fate could have brought so many wonderful people into my life in the three years since I adopted this worldview. I am an attractor because I dare to connect with the longed for 'homecoming' that resonates at the core of every seeker of original self. As I playfully weave into my fractal tapestry the simple gifts that are bestowed on me at every turn I intend to stand back occasionally to appreciate the intricacy, beauty and awesomeness of my creation and share it with other seekers, wherever the impulses take me. As I contemplate life in an autopoietic (self-creating) model I see that meaning that makes life worth living may be nothing more than a sensation, such as holding a newborn grandchild, or the passing thrill when I am reminded of my love for my husband, or discovering at fifty-eight that I can swing hands with a new best-friend as we skip together into the future. Perhaps meaning is an epiphany rather than an understanding. Jean Johnson, Infinite Choices & Associates Inc. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
